About

I build the platforms other people’s work runs on.

I started inside a securities exchange, writing the software behind its IT service management, first on BMC Remedy and then on ServiceNow. Over the next decade I moved from developer to the person who owned the platform and its roadmap: designing ITIL processes, building the CMDB, and learning that a service platform only works when the process, the data and the people agree.

At a national homebuilder I joined as the only ServiceNow resource the day the contract was signed, and grew that into a 14-person organization running ITSM, ITOM, asset management and GRC as a product for 10,000+ employees. That included an application that gated on-site access during COVID.

Then I took on the other platform: the one engineers build on. I founded a DevOps practice and Center of Excellence from zero for roughly 500 developers across AWS and Azure. Golden paths took environment setup from two weeks to hours and releases from ad hoc to 25–50 deploys a week, and CI/CD pipelines now create their own change records, so governance comes from the pipeline instead of a ticket.

Most recently, AI in production: Now Assist inside ITSM, a two-agent triage workflow, and GitHub Copilot scaled to 300+ developers, followed by a Claude Code rollout under responsible-AI guardrails.

One through-line: self-service under governance.
